My Story!!
For weeks I have “needed” to tell “My Story“, but I never found the perfect time to write it, never a perfect time to do my short little video to tell my story, always a reason NOT to do it!! Well, my next post for my “30 Day Social Content Challenge” is to….you guessed it….Share My Story!! No video YET, but no time like the present to just “GO FOR IT!” (video will come later) 🙂
Which story shall I tell? I’ve got some good ones, the way hubs and I met, my beautiful kiddos, my work story, being a stay at home mama story, or my most recent 13 month Younique story? I’m going to start with my Younique story because it has been life changing for my family and mascara will pay for my kids college!! That is my why!! So here goes it!!!!
January 2014, my high school friend Lisa is selling this cool looking mascara!! I thought I’d help her out by hosting an online party for her…no cooking, no cleaning, NO BRAINER!!!! She’d do most of the work for me!! So, I did….my 10 day party was VERY successful!! WOW!!! I couldn’t believe how excited ladies got over makeup. I mean I used MAC makeup and loved it. No thoughts of changing, but wanted to help her launch her new bizz. Few weeks later, without even trying the mascara or any other Younique products I went with my gut!! $99, I get a bunch of makeup, eh what did I have to lose, if it didn’t work out at least I got all this cool makeup for my daughter and I!! SWEET!! What have I got to loose right?? Besides $99!! LOL

I received my kit and tried the mascara!! BOOM, IN LOVE!!! I advanced quicker than ever expected, YELLOW (pay raise), 2 presenters, PINK, then 3 presenters, and earned my FAST START BONUS, $250 Y CASH….SHOPPING SPREE!! I quickly advanced to BLUE status and within 3 short months I was a GREEN status Elite Presenter which have you is 4th from the TOP level!! I WAS IN AWE!!!! I have been GREEN for 10 months now (recently announced I am actually in the TOP 1.1% of our company), I haven’t reached my next advancement (ORANGE), but I know in time it will happen!! I now have 29 personally sponsored and 211 in my whole company!!!! I get the pleasure of working with and coaching ALL of these AMAZING women!! Blows me away everyday!! They have helped me step outside of my comfort zone and work to be a great leader!!!!

Being able to work my business mostly online, which is what works for my family at this time has been AMAZING!! I’m able to work from anywhere on my phone or iPad. This $99 investment has allowed me to put a CHUNK of moula in my kiddos college fund and we continue to add to it EVERYDAY. They have very HIGH HOPES for college and we plan to make it happen!! So, YES mascara will pay for my kids college!!!!
I thank every single women on my team, my upline, and every Younique presenter that has helped me step outside of my comfort zone by taking selfies and doing videos!!!!! It’s been an AMAZING ride!!!! My next COMFORT ZONE step…..are you ready for this….is to take my VERY FIRST flight to Chicago in August for our Younique convention. Yes i’m uh-huh years old and I’ve never flown!!!! Ya, remember that comfort zone thing!! LOL But, with my hubbies support and support from my Y sisters I’m taking my first flight and first trip without my hubs and family!!!! GOING TO BE AMAZING!!!!
